Meet Josh
The Man Behind the Magic
Josh is the founder and creative force behind Pick Your Poison. With a background rooted in distillation, mixology and flavour development, Josh has spent years refining his craft and educating others in the art of alcohol creation.
His journey began with a fascination for what makes a truly great cocktail. This evolved into a deep expertise in spirit production. Today, Josh distills at 3 small-batch distilleries, leads acclaimed rum school sessions, curates bespoke cocktail masterclasses and has launched his own signature spirit, Mello Cello. Beyond the bar, Josh is a passionate educator and advocate for the craft alcohol community. He regularly speaks at industry events, collaborates with local distilleries and continues to push boundaries in both technique and taste.
